Aona is a Workforce AI Security platform. It gives organisations visibility into employees’ AI use, helps enforce AI policies and protects sensitive prompts and files on supported AI services.
No. You can set policies around tools, employee groups and sensitive data. On supported paths, Aona can remove sensitive identifiers or block submissions according to your policy, while employees continue using approved AI tools.
Aona’s discovery catalog tracks 10,000+ AI tools. Policy enforcement depends on the AI tool, installed client and input type. The browser plugin supports Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari; desktop apps support Windows and macOS. Coverage requires installation on managed devices; iOS and Android are not covered. Agent inspection is in limited rollout.
Backend hosting and prompt processing are separate choices. The backend can run in your cloud, on-premises or on Aona-managed servers. Supported prompt processing can run on the employee device, in your environment or on Aona-managed servers. Availability depends on the feature and configuration. These choices do not determine a third-party AI provider’s processing location.
