Phind shut down abruptly on January 16, 2026 — roughly a month after a $10M raise — giving users only two weeks of warning and no export path for saved searches or chat history. As of this writing phind.com returns 404s. Any organization still linking to Phind should remove it from sanctioned tools, audit dependent workflows, and migrate to active alternatives (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Perplexity for dev search).
